Utility blocks are blocks that you can interact with. Without them, it would be almost impossible to play Minecraft. Here is a list of utility blocks:
- Crafting table: you will use this at least once unless you get insanely lucky in the seed. this block lets you make lots of essential stuff and more!
- Furnace: cook your meat and smelt your raw ore!
- Smoker: a furnace that cooks food faster.
- Blast Furnace: a furnace that smelts ore faster.
- Chest: store up to 1,728 more stuff in these! (Tip: store all your stuff, even if it’s almost worthless! Even rotten flesh has a use-it can be fed to dogs to restore their HP.
- Enchanting table: enchant your stuff for 1-3 Lapis Lazuli!
- Loom: This is where you customize your banners!
- Cartography Table: with this, you can make better maps! This is the job block of a cartographer villager.
- Smithing Table: make netherite tools and armor and customize your armor with armor trims! The job block of an armorer.
- Brewing Stand: make potions with this! The job block of a cleric.
- Barrel: same as a chest but more accessible!
- Grindstone: repair and disenchant. The job block of a blacksmith.
- Stonecutter: customize your stone with this block. it is the job block of a mason.
- Note Block: not to be confused with the jukebox, this makes different sounds depending on the block it’s on.
- Jukebox: not to be confused with the note block. Put different music discs into it, and hear the music.
- Cauldron: store liquids and potions in this and wash off dyed leather armor. the job block of a leatherworker.
